The first time I met Sachié & Karl via Skype, I immediately saw a lot of sweetness and kindness in their couple relation. Their unique connection was honest, serene and calm, so their design should evoke the same feelings qualities in order to capture their love in an immersive, evocative experience.
They get married in june in the museum of Buttin de Loes in Grandvaux, in Switzerland. In this area, the majestically snow-coated Alps mountains, the changing blue colors of the leman lake, and the green terraced vineyards of lavaux, combined with the «family house» feeling of the venue, created a natural romantic environment for them to celebrate their togetherness.
Their wedding mood was very peaceful and intimate with a visual experience influenced by the natural surroundings, infusing a soft colors palette of lavender, blush pink, apricot, white and grey.
The ceremony held outdoor with a wooden arch as a focal point. Partially filled with greenery, stock & roses and draped with a hand-tied fabric, it was offering their guests a gorgeous view on the Leman lake . In the aisle runner, some light ground «growing» compositions brought a natural garden feeling.
Sachié had two different bouquets in the colors and flowers she was drawn to. For her elopment, I designed a minimalist small bouquet of sweet peas and clematis in different shades of purple. The bridal bouquet was made of lilac (her favorite flowers), garden roses peonies and stock with touch of jasmine and sweet peas.
The reception was designed with the same seasonal spring/summer flowers with an organic style. On a light grey table linen, the garden styled centerpieces in medicis compote gave this effortless elegance to a minimalist set-up. A light vines runner , fruits and votives was the last touch to bring life to the table and inspire conversation amongst the guests.
For the beautiful white layered cake, a simple delicate floral design was made of hellobores, berries and nepetas flowers in lavender tones.
